Inland Eye Specialists Surgery Center was established in 1985 by Dr. Michael Duffin in Hemet, California and opened an additional location in Murrieta, California.
Since the opening of Inland Eye Specialists Surgery Center patients have been enthusiastic about being able to have their surgery performed outside the hospital! Our patients appreciate the efficiency of the surgery center and the friendly staff. Modern advances in cataract surgery and other ocular procedures have made hospitalization generally unnecessary. The 2,500+ annual surgeries performed at Inland Surgery Center include surgery for cataracts, glaucoma, strabismus, and corneal disease. We also perform cosmetic eyelid surgery.
Our surgery centers, located at 3953 W. Stetson Avenue in Hemet and at 25395 Hancock Avenue [Suite 100] in Murrieta, are affiliated with Inland Eye Specialists Medical Group. The Inland Eye Specialists Surgery Center received AAAHC accreditation in 1984, becoming the first outpatient surgery center in the area and one of the few in the state of California to receive this distinction. In 2010, Inland Eye Specialists Surgery Center received AAAASF accreditation. Both AAAHC (Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care) and AAAASF (The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities) inspect, survey and accredit centers that are able to comply with the highest national patient care standards. Inland Eye Specialists Surgery Center has held continuous accreditation since 1984, attesting to its commitment to excellent service. Additionally, the center is Medicare Certified and state licensed.
