J. Grant Tew, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been practicing since 2000 and joined Inland Eye Specialists in 2004. He treats medical and surgical diseases of the eye and specializes in cataract surgery and corneal transplantation.
Dr. Tew obtained his medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia and completed his residency at the University of Denver. He completed a fellowship at the University of Southern California where he specialized in diagnosing and treating corneal diseases as well as learning the latest refractive surgery techniques.
Dr. Tew is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Medical Association. He has given many national presentations and has published research in scientific journals such as Nature.
Dr. Tew specializes in”Quick Vision” cataract surgery which avoids injections, stitches, and eye patches. Dr. Tew provides treatment for diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other diseases of the eye.
Dr. Tew is married and has four children. He is an avid golfer and enjoys playing basketball and running. He gets up early each morning to teach a religion class for high school students.
